IMPORTANT NOTICE: The CDBA4 Calibrviiitor has been updated. The old free version and Calibrviiitor templates purchased or downloaded before 9-16-19 will be phased out and become obsolete. Binary files and tune files created with the old versions will not work with the new. Owners should check their download directory for the update. 

Our unique TunerPro XDF template for the 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII is the largest 2 Bank ECU breakout to date. This XDF was created specifically for our turbo car and no one else has it for unlicensed tuning software.

You can buy just the template seperate to use with your existing chip and chip burning combo*. We recommend using only Moates stuff for burning chips with this template.

• You must use TunerPro Software to use this. You can download that here.
• You must obtain a 256k Binary or Binary Stacker Layout file to begin tuning.
• Depending on the make of chip you're trying to write, will determine the Flash&Burn software update you will need to use.
• If you are trying to burn only a Moates F3V2 chip, you must use the 5.16F Version. For others, you can use the 5.14F Version.

Once purchased, a Use Key will be manually generated by us, and you will be emailed a specific link for your download(s) to take place. That specific link will be your folder where you will receive updates and tuning support. It takes us an hour or so to generate your Use Key, create your directory and get the stuff loaded up, so be patient.

• Note: If purchasing a CalibrVIIItor Pack, the tunes will take 24-48 hours to create and load.

We do not generate Use Keys in our sleep, so understand if it is past 9pm CST, you will be waiting until the next morning.

Q&A

Q: What if I sell / no longer have my model year car I bought the CalibrVIIItor software for, and recently obtained another Mark with a different ECU Strategy?

• A: No big deal. Just show us you no longer have it and have your Use Key on-hand, and we can swap the Use Key over to a new template for $75.00. If you didn't keep the chip, we will sell you one for $100.00 minus the switch (additional $35.00). Tuning for the new strategy will be $100.00 to convert your old tunes / revisions to the new strategy. If you sold the burner, pick up another one or buy from us for $100.00.

Q: Can the Lite Version use emailed tuning?

• A: Yes it can. In fact, the Lite version is just a stripped access version that can be used the same way as the CalibrVIIItor template.

Q: Can I burn my own chip from "XYZ" Company?

• A: Obviously we are going to tell you to use the chip we supply. Some folks have tested other manufacturers chips and some work, some don't. Our templates are designed to work best with the Moates F3V2 Ford Memory chip.

Q: If I buy one of your chips now, and decide I want to tune myself later, do I have to pay full price?

• A: No. In fact, if you buy our chip now, and decide a few weeks or months down the road you need to tune some things yourself, you can download our free OS template and purchase a Moates JayBird. You will then have the ability tune yourself a lot of the stuff without worrying about in-depth stuff. Obviously we offer a $50.00 discount to people that have our chip now, and need the CalibrVIIItor stuff. 

Q: What if I have Mark VIII's from all years and need to tune every one to my specific liking?

• A: We would say that's awesome and we got ya covered. You can buy our Mass CalibrVIIItor Template bundle that covers all cars from 1993 to 1998 for $400.00. Thats buy 2 get 1 free if you think about it. Burner and chips are seperate. If you only need 2 CalibrVIIItor Templates, it is $300.00.

Q: Do you give credit for unlocked flash devices on trade in?

• A: On some, yes. If you have a flash device you cannot use or figure out we can give you UP TO a $200.00 trade-in allowance on UNLOCKED devices. The $200.00 credit is 100% dependant on device age and condition.

Q: Does the Lite OS template include remote tuning support?

• A: Not part of downloading directly, no. However if you have one of our chips and want to source out your own burner we are able to assist you with that if needed. Those particular requests are based on a case-by-case basis and an email or phone call should take place first.

Q: How do you remote in to my computer?

• A: A remote desktop application called TeamViewer. You must have a computer connected to the internet and ability to dedicate time on the phone while it happens. You can download TeamViewer here.

Q: What if I want to have access to the addresses and have a fully unlocked template for development reasons?

• A: Download the ECU Breakout under the Tuning Database Section and configure the formulas and other stuff, or buy a complete unlock bundle. The complete unlock is $2,500.00 per strategy.
