Registry Background

"It's hard to be so serious in this day and age. Especially when you play on these cars as a hobby!

That alone takes having fun, dedication and even sometimes, patience. But, inventing new cuss words is quite common around here." -GLB

The Lincoln Mark VIII Tuning Registry is a simple website that was founded by two dedicated owners of the last RWD Platform Lincoln Performance Coupe.

The site was initially built as a "cheat-sheet" for the folks that built it, but has since turned into an information portal for the world-wide owners and collectors that look for information regarding these cars.

Now, the sole purpose of The Registry is to help others find what they need and find it fast. We have been searching through our archives and adding them in web format as we go.

We have a decent selection of custom calculators and converters for the novice wrench turner or experienced ECU tuner to utilize as well.

We also have tune files and other files available in our database for those of you that like to tune your own cars.

Both of the owners have daily 8-5 jobs as well, so be patient with us updating content or replying to emails.

We only do this as a hobby, and are willing to help anyone out that needs it. We developed the CalibVIIItor Stuff for owners to test and tune their own cars; and have also been known to barter that software for folks that don't want to dump a bunch of money in these cars. YOU CAN'T FIND THAT ANYWHERE ELSE!!

Who We Are And Why We Do It. The serious part..

The CalibrVIIItor Software or Hardware Packages are not available for mass distribution, and are not available at retail or over the counter sales shops. They never will be due to the stipulations of our Research and Developmental platform. They are not available on eBay or Amazon (or any other site alike) under any user we operate. If you find a CalibrVIIItor package on either eBay or Amazon (or any other site alike), it is sold as is by someone other than us and the License IS NOT valid unless YOU VALIDATE AND REGISTER WITH US AS A NEW END USER. There is a $75.00 charge for transfered licenses to become valid. No updates or file revisions will be granted to un-licensed users.

Only the RLO (Registered License Owner) is supported by us and assumes all responsiblity for use. We do not encourage violating state and/or local codes, ordinances and amendments with use of this software. Some territory restrictions are in place for this software as well.

If for any reason there are any issues with this, we are here to guide all who have signed our acknowledgement waiver and have an ACTIVE License from us as set by our Terms and Conditions of Ownership.

Our development has helped many in the past, and we will continue to keep things this way equally for everyone.

Thanks for checking us out!!

Our Timeline

1996First Mark VIII Tuned with an old non-descript EEC Tuner. A 1993 BOB car which was bought at auction specifically for testing and tuning.
1997-1999Many tests were conducted on the "test car" in stock form. Once it outgrew the factory components, they were upgraded.
Later '99 to beginning 2001After the "test car" was done with. We started on the 1996 ECU. The 1996 we had at the time got all N/A improvements with tuning from another device. This is where it really began. It paved the way for us. We thought about playing with the 99 SVT Cobra too. It just wasn't a priority though.. We rehabbed and flipped vehicles to build up the money. Decided to sell Foxbody's more than others. Had fun doing it.
08-24-2001 to 02-2002Launched our very first tuning package for the 1993-1995 and 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII by Christmas. Dubbed it the GWK Pack (initials of the developers Grandfather). Basically gears, converter, exhaust and another tuning device. Figured a way to sell them OTC as upgrades to the Mark VIII's we sold. That was VERY Difficult BTW. We enjoyed surprising Mustang and LS1 owners. LOL. Still in the car market.
02-2002Focused on the Mustang Turbo Kit Market. Halted Mark VIII stuff for a little over a year. Managed to custom design SBF turbo kits for folks, and then moved in to the turbo parts market from there. Put out just over 40 5-liter Mustang kit INSTALLS in 2002. Kept us busy to say the least. Lead developer had a newborn daughter in October.
03-2003 to 12-2003With the developer and lead sales guy having a newborn daughter now, 2003 SVT Mustang Cobra stuff started up with trusted help. Full out fabrication and tuning was the main focus. At the time, it was the most powerful Mustang ever developed by Ford and we jumped right in to them.
01-2004 to 09-2004More 03-04 Mustang Cobra stuff took off. Custom intake manifolds, compound boost builds and BPU stuff. The market was awesome!
10-2004 to 08-2007Nissan VQ35DE/HR software and performance parts development. That was not fun at all so it was shit-canned after the crowd it brought during an almost 3 year try.. Could not quite give it 3 years.... No more.. I quit that.. Got in to traveling for cars and figuring out a system to transport vehicles. Auctions were visited quite often. Once that played out, back to the basics..
09-2007 to 11-2016What a trek! Developer and Lead Sales guy had yet another newborn daughter in January 2012. Opened a race shop, remapped our sales to the Diesel crowd, then sold the shop for some profit. Development focused on getting the Lincoln Mark VIII Enthusiast back on track without the annoying overhead. Day jobs were achieved and car stuff became a hobby for us. After we settled in, we launched our TunerPro XDF's and put together packages for the DIY Tuner. 1997-1998 Mark VIII tuning package was finalized and launched.
11-2016 to PresentWith the lead sales and developer having a young son now (and two daughters --- yeah it's fun), development has been per request or need. Yeah we still have a "shop" to go to, but retail floor space is non-existent. Also many more tuning packages have been developed for DIY folks, so we decided to add a spot online you could buy most of them from. Re-Development of tuning software for the Speed Density ECU and various Mustang took flight as well. Our 1996 LSC got a custom turbo system too.  WYSIWYG....

That pretty much sums it up with us. Kinda like a resume isn't it? Well, we put our stuff out there so you know we are human beings too. We do what we can to help others get what they are needing by offering our services. We are not the folks that will try to talk you out of anything if you're set on it. We are only here to help you make the right choice. Hope you see that when visting our site.
