Logistical Mapping

Please Note: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons are our usual ship days. Usually between 2pm and 5pm. As much as we like to be on time for absolutely everything we deliver, there are times at which the shipping entity might not see things our way. We will do our best to try to find out what the delay is and help overcome this for you.

We use USPS Priority as our shipping method and ship your product in the following fashion:

  1. Canada and Other Countries will be USPS Priority International and will have additional fee's attached to the price.
  2. If the planned shipping day is delayed due to hours of operation or hub is closed for whatever reason, we ship the following business day from another location.
  3. We do not ship days or holidays that the PO is closed.
  4. We only ship USPS Priority unless absolutely impossible to use them for shipping. We need to know this too.
  5. We will only ship to the PayPal confirmed address due to their Seller Protection Policy.
  6. We usually ship within 10 days of completed order unless otherwise specified, or a custom part is being built or on back order which would allow for longer times.
  7. We DO NOT allow local pick up at all in any way shape or form.
  8. We supply standard rate insurance on all orders and parts shipped back to people that sent stuff in for whatever reason.
  9. Items we do not stock in the warehouses (backorder or special order components) will have additional shipping times.
  10. If we are expecting longer than normal shipping times due the manufacturer being on backorder or whatever, we will tell you about it.

Q: What happens if I order on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, will it ship Thursday?

A: No, it will ship within 2 to 5 weeks of ordering unless said otherwise. Otherwise definition can be the product you ordered is shipping directly from the manufacturer. If that is the case, we will tell you. PLUS, if this is an electronic flash device, we may drop ship it from the manufacturer and then send you the custom tuning via digital download ---- Also, if this is the case, you will hear about it from us.

We have practically no overhead whatsoever here and we like it that way. When you place an order with us, we make one too. Placed orders count as PAID invoices, or orders placed on the site and money collected. Once that clears, we order your parts and get them sent to us. Once they arrive, we write the tuning to the device that day or very early next day. If it is something we have in our LOCAL warehouse, we drive over there during lunch break and buy it from them with the money you paid us.

It is really quite simple and keeps us from staying up all night wondering if some jackass will break in and take our inventory. Remember, everything hardware related we "sell" on our site can be bought by the individual themselves at the SAME price WE buy it for. The ONLY difference is that those devices WILL NOT have our tuning files loaded to them.

EXAMPLE: This is why you see the Moates F3V2 chip back when we sold them at $200 with one tune, or $250 for 4 on here. ANYONE'S price was $75 with no tuning loaded, and $30 extra for the switch. Plus about $8 for shipping from Moates when they were in business. See, YOU'RE PAYING FOR THE TUNING here... Remember we are here to help you out!

We now order some of our chip tuning devices from international sources so lead times have gone from 7 to 10 days, to 14 to 35 days on those devices.

 

This chart might simplify the daily operational questions you might have. We only have 1 tuner/developer and 1 website guy. We both work full time jobs as well, so we appreciate your understanding.

Monday

Tune Creation and Logistics from prior week day 1 - Recap from past week.

This includes messages and emails that come in from the weekend and carried over from the prior week.

Digital Tune Files that are new CUSTOM files get added to the account by 9pm.

This includes XDF Generation.

Tuesday

Tune Creation and Logistics from prior week day 2 - This includes messages and emails that are considered "Flagged" as quotes or delayed for special ordering.

Digital Tune Files that are new CUSTOM files get added to the account this day as well by 9pm.

This includes XDF's and Use Key REVIEWS.

Wednesday

Sent Devices and Shipping for prior week day 1 - This includes tracking updates and packaging/preparing for orders that came in from the past week.

Start of last weeks orders on in-hand items getting packaged and shipped.

This includes tuning and flashing from devices sent to us, as well as Use Key REVIEWS.

Thursday

Sent Devices and Shipping for prior week day 2 - This includes leftover tracking updates and packaging/preparing from yesterday.

Remainder of last weeks orders on in-hand items packaged up and shipped.

This also includes tuning and flashing on devices sent to us.

Friday

R&D Day 1 and Shipping for prior week day 3 - ECU Disassembly, tuning that came about from prior week.

Last day of shipping from PRIOR week. If we didn't receive the part yet this day, but get a late arrival after hours, we will SOMETIMES ship it Saturday depending on time.

This may include new tuning and flashing on devices sent to us but most likely never does unless its late and we can't sleep.

XDF's and Use Key Generation are set for 6pm to 9pm.

Saturday

R&D Day 2 and possible Late Arrival Shipping - This MAY include Late Arrival Shipping. Digital Tune File Revisions take place between 10am and 12 noon ONLY.

XDF Creation and Use Key Generation are NOT included on this day.

Remote Tuning is First Come, First Serve and set between 12 noon and 2pm ONLY. We MUST have confirmed your time slot.

2pm is complete shutdown for the day.

Sunday

Upcomming Week Preperation - Getting orders ready that came in from the current week.

Digital Tune File Revisions take place throughout the day but no dedicated time block is set.

Start of XDF creation and New CUSTOM Tune File Creation.

Remote Tuning is First Come, First Serve and set between 12 noon and 2pm ONLY. We MUST have confirmed your time slot.

2pm is complete shutdown for everything but REVISIONS and XDF CREATION.

We do not accept returns on installed/opened electronics or digital files period.
Again, we DO NOT allow returns on installed/opened electronics or digital files. If your device is something YOU sourced out through someone else, and the device doesn't work as you thought, we can help point you in the right direction. We cannot guarantee anyones ability but our own.

NOTE: Saturdays and Sundays DO NOT count as business shipping days.
