In the Beginning.....
Our Process starts by reading out a certain ECU, then running it through disassembly software (Some Free Open-Source Software and Some Not) to determine what does what. Once the operations and math is figured out, we give that parameter a name and assign it. We just rinse and repeat over a few months time because we still have day jobs to do.
After the laundry cycle has graduated from Developmental Status, it moves to Production Status. Once in Production Status, we write about 200 different files to a chip and verify just about everything we can on our test cars. If we don't like it, we don't release it. We drive our test cars to work and on trips to test out the program mapping. If our test car breaks in the middle of Development, we hault the process to see why. NOTHING is fast and easy except most of the time the MAF Transfer.
The Short on Our Model Here......
Get to Know Us and Shop Around BEFORE you decide. We aren't like the "other" retail sites at all.
You must know that the 1987 to 1995 OBD-I cars we tune use a J3 Chip mounted to the ECU to allow the tuning to take place. The 1996 to 1998 OBD-II cars we tune can utilize a Flash Device over the DLC to allow the tuning to take place as well as the J3 chip. Some 1994 and 1995 cars we tune have OBD-II but those files are kept stored off line to avoid confusion caused by people that insist on telling you the CZAJL 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII is OBD-II like the CCAQE 1994-1995 Ford Thunderbirds/Cougars are. Trust us it is NOT and in NO WAY should you believe that person telling you it is, or let them work on your car.. Unfortunately they are what we call "Magazine Mechanics" and have only one 10mm socket in their tool collection.
We developed a very powerful (over THOUSANDS of hours btw) ECU tuning solution for the specific vehicles we have listed on here. This has enabled the enthusiast to self-tune and diagnose their changes in performance at an extremely budget friendly investment.
Our intellectual XDF templates are distributed to owners, hobbyist and shops for the specific goal in tuning and testing the ECU in these specific vehicles. This development helps with people trying to increase fuel economy, adding performance parts that require certain ECU calibrations; and folks that use the drivelines in other projects. The CalibrVIIItor Software Packages are not available for mass distribution, and are not available at retail or over the counter sales shops. They never will be due to the stipulations of our Research and Developmental platform. The hardware we include in the packages is found in various areas on the internet and can be found by doing a simple search.
If this is something you're interested in learning more about, please contact us online, or continue to the needed area in the stores navigation menu above.
There are WAY too many companies out there that operate on the Setec Astronomy mindset method. If you play on the letters in Setec Astronomy, you get other meanings behind their ideas. Try it.. See what you come up with. FYI -- There are 13212 variants.
See why we know what works now?

Then, After Testing, it Gets Transformed Into The XDF You Use.......
