How To Compare Tunes

So.. We hear from customers more often than not, they would like to know what was changed on their tunes and how they are different. If you own a Tuning Package, this will show you the steps to compare tunes within the TunerPro RT V5 Software.

It's a good idea to try it out because we will just point you to this page anyways.

If you only have a chip or flash device, you can still get a rough idea of what is different by contacting us on the site. Not on Facebook. It can take us a bit to dig thru our customers to look up your stuff and make (possibly up to 10) different compare files.

Click on the images to enlarge them.

NOTE: If you DO NOT have the Tuning Software package, your tune(s) comapare files will be in .TXT format and can be requested like mentioned above. You can then compare the tunes thru Notepad or another text program.

WARNING ---- NEVER COPY SCALED TUNE FILE VALUES TO A NEW TUNE FILE! The K-Constant and SARCHG are custom coded to work only with the current file they are used in. Learn how to tune, don't steal others work. -------- You have been warned....

  • 1.) Open the compare feature like pictured.

  • 2.) Select the tune file location - you can select up to 4 at once and they do not have to be stock vs tuned, they can be tune vs tune as well

  • 3.) Once the compare file is loaded, select the difference tool utility

  • 4.) Utilize the features of the difference tool utility to compare and navigate to the parameters, and switch between compare tunes. Now, you  MUST understand that if you did not buy a Tuning Package, you will not see anything addressed with a parameter name, however you will see address changes in  blue. If it is something you want to try to configure on your own, we offer Disassembly Software and it is free to download.
